The campus community mourns the passing of Frank Siler, 91, who died Tuesday, November 5. Frank retired after more than 23 years of service to Bucknell in Dining Services.

Frank H. Siler Jr, 91, of Lewisburg passed away Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024, at Watsontown Nursing and Rehab.
He was born in Roanoke, Va., Sept. 26, 1933, a son of the late Frank H. and Eloise (Anderson) Siler Sr.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Betty J Krouse, in 2011.
Frank served 21 years in the Air Force and upon retiring worked as Production Manager in Food Service at Bucknell for 25 years.
He was a member of Charity Lodge #144 F & AM of Lewisburg, the Scottish Rite Consistory and was a volunteer with the Baptist Church of Lewisburg. He enjoyed fishing, coin collecting and westerns.
He is survived by two daughters Tammi Siler-Cindy Mycum, Debbie Fertig-Dave Mull; three grandchildren, Jeremy (Brenda) Fertig, Julie (Greg) Koklinski, Jon (Julie) Fertig; and five great-grandchildren: Katie Fertig, Emily Fertig, Hayley Koklinski, Ian Fertig and Clara Fertig. Also surviving are two sisters, Linda- Louis Widener and Nellie Dameswood.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday morning at the Harmony Cemetery Milton along with Military services and Masonic Services.
Arrangements are by the John H Shaw III Funeral Home, Lewisburg.
