James Turnure Sr. P’82

Dear Colleagues, The campus community mourns the passing of James Turnure Sr. P’82, who died on Saturday, Oct. 22. James retired as professor emeritus of art in 1992 after 24 years of service to Bucknell. James is survived by his son, Jim Turnure Jr. ’82. Lewis Dewart M’64, P’78

The campus community mourns the passing of Lewis Dewart M’64, P’78, who died on Saturday, September 4. Lewis retired in 1992 as Professor Emeritus of Mechanical Engineering after 18 years of service to the University. Lewis taught Aerodynamics and Advanced Engineering Problems with special talents in the aerodynamics field. His colleagues have shared that Lewis was a rare combination of a professional who has outstanding laboratory skills and other experimental talents.
