The campus community mourns the passing of John (Jack) Pyper, 90, who died Wednesday, June 24. Jack retired in 1999 after more than 29 years of service as an associate dean of arts and sciences. Jack is remembered by colleagues as a wonderful mentor, colleague, and friend to so many at Bucknell. Over the years, his conversations with students were always tempered by his innate kindness.
