Edward Mastascusa
The campus community mourns the passing of Edward “Ed” Mastascusa, who died on Sunday, February 5, 2017. Edward joined the Bucknell faculty in 1968, and, after teaching for 41 years, retired as Professor Emeritus of Electrical Engineering in 2009. Ed received the Lindback Award for Distinguished Teaching in the 1980-81 academic year, and he served as department chair for many years during his tenure at Bucknell. Ed was a 1956 graduate of St. Basil High School. He continued his education at Carnegie Mellon University, where he received bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate degrees by 1964.
