Herb retired from Bucknell in 1995 as Professor Emeritus of Mechanical Engineering after more than 30 years of service as a faculty member. David joined the Bucknell faculty in 1964 and after teaching for 35 years, retired as Professor Emeritus of Mathematics in 1999. In 1970, David received the Christian R. and Mary F. The campus community mourns the passing of Lorraine Kistler, who died on Wednesday, February 25. Lorraine worked for dining services for 19 years, retiring in 1997. Born Sept. 15, 1933, in Renovo, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence Sr. and Geraldine (Knoebel) Boop. On Jan. 1, 1954, she married Allen Kistler, who survives. Richard joined the Bucknell Faculty in 1959 and after teaching for 33 years, retired as Professor Emeritus of Geology in 1992.
