The campus community mourns the passing of Adam Schwartz, who died on August 22, 2020. Adam began his work at Bucknell in 2018 in his role as the Holmes Professor in Management and Co-director of the Student Management Investment Fund. The Freeman College of Management mourns the loss of a dear friend, distinguished colleague, and beloved teacher. With a generous spirit and a droll sense of humor, Professor Schwartz was the rare teacher-scholar who inspired student applause on the first day of class. Richard C. “Dick” Skelton

The campus community mourns the passing of Richard C. “Dick” Skelton ’60, M’70, P’92, who died on August 17, 2020. Dick retired from Student Services & Enrollment Planning, now Enrollment Management, in 2000 after decades of service. In addition to his employment at Bucknell, Dick earned his undergraduate and master’s degree at Bucknell, and was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity, Delta Mu Delta business honor society and ROTC. Dear Colleagues, The campus community mourns the passing of John C. “Jack” Allen Jr., who died on Thursday, April 30. Jack retired in 2000 as Professor Emeritus of Geology after 36 years of service to Bucknell. Jack dedicated the bulk of his professional career to Bucknell.
