Beatrice Williams

The campus community mourns the passing of Beatrice Williams, who died on Monday, May 25. Beatrice worked in facilities for 16 years, retiring in 1991. Born March 1, 1926, in Kratzerville, Beatrice was the daughter of the late Foster C. and Dilla (Brouse) Kline. On Jan. 31, 1976, she married Junior Williams who preceded her in death. She was a member of Zion Reformed Church, Kratzerville for more than 50 years and a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1173 Ladies Auxiliary, Selinsgrove. Geraldine “Gerry” Johnson

The campus community mourns the passing of Geraldine “Gerry” Johnson, who died on Sunday, May 24. Geraldine worked for dining services for 11 years, retiring in 1991. She was born Aug. 30, 1926 in Monroe Township, Snyder County, a daughter of the late Alfred and Mary (Heiser) Baum. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Alexander Legros, of Winfield and Ellen and James Hackenberg, of Selinsgrove; six grandchildren, Christian and Ian Legros, Jenifer Voneida, Eric Hackenberg, Neal Johnson, and Melissa Demuth; six great-grandchildren, Thomas, Lucas, Jaren, Aubree, Jeep, and Imogene; and one sister, Patricia Gordon, of Mifflinburg. Larry Zeller

The campus community mourns the passing of Larry Zeller, who died on Saturday, May 16. Larry worked as an electrician for 26 years and retired in 2010. Larry was born May 29, 1943, a son of the late Francis Samuel and Jean (Wagner) Zeller. On February 16, 1962, he married the former Barbara Metzger, who survives. Larry graduated Mifflinburg Area High School in 1962. Gerald Wang Cook

The campus community mourns the passing of Gerald Wang Cooke, 89, who died on Wednesday, December 24, 2014. Gerald joined the Bucknell faculty in 1962 and, after teaching for 26 years, retired as Professor Emeritus of Religion in 1988. ​He graduated from Cheyenne Mountain High School, continued his education at Colorado College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, and then at Yale Divinity School, where he graduated with a degree of Doctor of Divinity. He was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, the national academic honor society. Moises Veloz

The campus community mourns the passing of Moises G. Veloz, who worked as a shop technician in the Department of Physics and Astronomy. He passed away peacefully on Monday, Dec. 22, 2014, at Geisinger Medical Center. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Lewisburg. Moises was a loving and dedicated husband and father as well as an avid fan of the San Antonio Spurs.
