The Bucknell University community mourns the passing of emeritus trustee and loyal Bucknellian Robert (Bob) Malesardi, ’45, P’75 ’79 ’87, GP’08, on Jan. 16, 2021. Bob Malesardi majored in accounting at Bucknell and was a member of the wrestling team, the Navy V-12 program and Sigma Chi. Prior to his retirement, the World War II veteran spent many years operating an accounting firm and developing real estate. He co-owned the Four Seasons Resort in Palm Beach, Fla. The campus community mourns the passing of Bruce Kline, who died on Wednesday, December 2, 2020.  Bruce has worked in our Facilities Department for 41 years, having served as equipment operator on the grounds/labor crew, as trades apprentice for carpentry, electrical, welding and plumbing, and then promoted to carpenter in 2007. The campus community mourns the passing of Pauline Fletcher, who died on Monday, November 30. Pauline retired in 2002 as Professor Emerita of English after 20 years of service to Bucknell. Pauline was an inspirational teacher, an accomplished and productive scholar, and an influential colleague who served the University in a number of capacities over her two decades on the Bucknell faculty.
