The campus community mourns the passing of Beth Bouchard after a courageous battle with cancer. Beth came to Bucknell in July of 2010 from Rider University and served as the Director of the First-year Experience. Beth was a passionate and committed member of our community who cared deeply about our students. As recently as April of 2016, Beth was recognized for her many contributions to Bucknell student life when she was selected as the Bucknellian’s Faculty/Staff member of the year. The daughter of Greg and Arlene Bouchard, Beth grew up in New York. Beth is survived by her parents; a sister, Suzie Bauer and her husband Jeremy of Portland, Oregon; and beloved nephew and niece, Graham and Joelle.
A campus memorial service celebrating Beth’s life will be held this Saturday, Dec. 10 at 11 a.m. at Rooke Chapel with a reception to follow at the Weis Center for Performing Arts. All are welcome.
