Bravman<br \/>\nPresident<\/p>\n<p>_____________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p>Corene J. Tompkins, 93 of Warrior Run Manor, Watsontown, passed away on April 14, 2019 at Evangelical Community Hospital.\u00a0\u00a0Born in White Deer on June 26, 1925 she was the daughter of the late Henry E. and Hazel (Koch) Ranck.\u00a0\u00a0She was married to Robert Hemrick until his passing and then was married to the late Robert Tompkins.<\/p>\n<p>Corene was a 1943 graduate of Watsontown High School and she worked at Montgomery Mills and then in the housekeeping department at Bucknell University.\u00a0\u00a0Corene was an active member of Faith Chapel in White Deer.\u00a0\u00a0She was a member of the Watsontown American Legion and of the White Deer Park Auxiliary.\u00a0\u00a0She enjoyed camping at Nittany Mountain Campground in New Columbia.\u00a0\u00a0Corene liked to play dominoes, cards and all sorts of games.<\/p>\n<p>She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Ruth Ann and Ken Fraboni of Milton; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert Jr. and Jacki Hemrick of Allenwood; four grandchildren, Anna Russell, Phil Boehmer, Anthony Fraboni, and Steven Hemrick; nine great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>Corene was preceded in death by a sister, Gladys Dugan.<\/p>\n<p>Friends and relatives will be received from 10-11 AM on Thursday, April 18 at the Shaw Funeral Home, 400 N.
