Connie worked as a custodian, retiring in 2007 after 24 years at Bucknell.<\/p>\n<p>Born on June 25, 1945, in West Milton, she was a daughter of the late Mary (Stump) Boone and a 1963 graduate of Danville High School. She was a member of Christ Wesleyan Church in Milton, a former member and past president of the Millmont West Union Area Lions Club, and a volunteer for Evangelical Hospice. Connie enjoyed bowling, sewing, reading, and working in concessions at Penns Creek Park Raceway.<\/p>\n<p>She is survived by her companion of 30 years, Edward Zimmerman; four children, Dwayne and Lori Zimmerman, of Northumberland, Anthony Campbell, of State College, Shelley and Ron Snyder, of Riverside, and Shonna Geyer and her companion, Julie Baehre, of Syracuse, N.Y.; five grandchildren, Tara and Jesse Vanderpool, Machenzie Snyder, Nicholas Snyder, Cody Zimmerman and Dawson Zimmerman;\u00a0and some special little people in her life, Myeesha, Samuel, Anthony, Mason and Marlee.<\/p>\n<p>There will be no viewing or service. Contributions in Connie\u2019s memory may be made to Evangelical Hospice, 1 Hospital Drive, Lewisburg, PA 17837. Arrangements are by the Olley-Gotlob Funeral Home, 539 Race Street, Sunbury.<\/p>\n<p>On behalf of the entire Bucknell community, I extend our deepest sympathies to Connie\u2019s family, as well as to all who knew her at Bucknell.<\/p>\n<p>John C.
