Dear Members of the Campus Community,<\/p>\n
It is with deep sorrow that I share the news of the passing of Ruth Ann Craven, who was a devoted and caring member of our staff for the last 43 years. Ruth Ann came to Bucknell in 1974 as a staff member in the Department of Psychology. Since 1994, she served as the administrative assistant for the Office of the Chaplains and Religious Life and worked tirelessly behind the scenes at Rooke Chapel. She also served as the caretaker for Ward House on campus.<\/p>\n
In recognition of Ruth Ann’s commitment to Bucknell, she was awarded the 2014 Zeller Award for support staff excellence. Anyone who has attended a religious service, a choir or bell concert, or Candlelight Service at Rooke Chapel has experienced her attention to detail and steadfast loyalty to the University.<\/p>\n
