Ruth Luck Maturani, 90, of Lewisburg, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2017, at the Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.<\/p>\n
She was born February 8, 1927, in Lewisburg, a daughter of the late Albert and Ruth Alberta (Vastine) Luck. She was the widow of John Thomas Maturani.<\/p>\n
Ruth was a graduate of Lewisburg High School and had worked for Bucknell University in the physical plant.<\/p>\n
She loved to read and in earlier years enjoyed painting, hiking and music, especially George Michael.<\/p>\n
She is survived by one daughter, Carmen Troutman, of Selinsgrove; five grandchildren, Jamie Katz, Erica Hawley, and\u00a0her wife, Melissa, Brian Betz, Camden Troutman, and Gavin Troutman; and five great-grandchildren, Emily Katz, Corbyn Katz, Rhyan Hawley, Lukas Guth, and Lily Guth.\u00a0 In addition to her husband,\u00a0she was preceded in death by two sisters, Joan Heimbach and Gail Heinz; and her stepmother, Catherine Luck.<\/p>\n
Friends and relatives will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at the John H. Shaw III Funeral Home, 801 Market St., Lewisburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 25, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 814 St. Louis St., Lewisburg, with Pastor Rev. Mark Wilke as celebrant.<\/p>\n
Burial will follow in Lewisburg Cemetery.<\/p>\n
